Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, signing in, continuing from the login screen, or using EVHUBI, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

EVHUBI may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Philippine Legal Framework

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. EVHUBI is designed with reference to Philippine requirements relevant to online services and app-based transactions, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012, the E-Commerce Act of 2000, the Consumer Act of the Philippines, and the Internet Transactions Act of 2023 where applicable.

3. Accounts and Security

• You must provide accurate account, profile, phone, and vehicle information when a feature requires it.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account.
• You must not impersonate another person, create misleading station or transaction records, or use another user charge code without authorization.
• EVHUBI may suspend or restrict access when needed to protect users, operators, data, stations, or the app.

4. App Features

• Station discovery shows EV charging stations, map markers, connector types, prices, support details, availability, and directions handoff.
• Saved stations let you bookmark stations for later access.
• Profile and vehicle screens store details needed for charging activity and operator verification.
• My Station lets operators add, update, and manage charging station details they control or are authorized to manage.
• Transactions and charge codes support recording charging activity between an app user and a station operator.
• Camera scanning is used for QR or charge-code entry, and notifications may be used for charging activity updates when enabled.

5. User and Operator Responsibilities

• Use EVHUBI only for lawful EV charging-related purposes.
• Confirm station availability, prices, safety conditions, access rules, and payment requirements before charging.
• Operators must keep station information accurate, including address, location, pricing, connector details, support contacts, and service status.
• Do not upload false, unsafe, infringing, illegal, or unauthorized station, user, vehicle, or transaction information.
• Comply with traffic, parking, property, electrical safety, consumer protection, and data privacy obligations that apply to your use.

6. Payments, Prices, and Station Services

EVHUBI may display station pricing, energy rates, session fees, and transaction totals for convenience. Actual fees, taxes, discounts, parking charges, penalties, or payment methods may be set by the station operator or merchant.

Unless EVHUBI is expressly identified as the merchant of record for a transaction, station operators are responsible for the charging service they provide, including service quality, receipts, refunds, customer support, and compliance with applicable Philippine consumer rules.

7. Location, Maps, and Availability

Maps, routes, distances, station status, connector availability, and charging estimates may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Always use reasonable judgment and follow local signs, property rules, and safety instructions at the charging site.

8. Acceptable Use

• Do not interfere with EVHUBI systems, Firestore data, authentication, station records, QR codes, or another user account.
• Do not scrape, reverse engineer, overload, bypass security, or use the app to commit fraud, harassment, or unlawful activity.
• Do not submit personal data about another person unless you have authority and a lawful basis to do so.

9. Intellectual Property

EVHUBI, including its brand, interface, software, graphics, and app content, is owned by or licensed to EVHUBI. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended purpose.

10. Disclaimers and Liability

EVHUBI is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the extent permitted by Philippine law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, perfect station accuracy, or availability of any charging service.

To the extent allowed by law, EVHUBI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app, station services, navigation choices, user content, operator actions, or third-party services.

11. Disputes and Contact

Philippine law governs these Terms. The parties should first try to resolve concerns in good faith through EVHUBI support. Consumer, privacy, or transaction concerns may also be raised with the appropriate Philippine agency when applicable.
